I was nervous reaching out. As a woman with a disability, I had a lot of worries. But from the very first conversation, Ramses made me feel safe and cared for. He listened to everything I said and answered with kindness, not just as a guide, but as a human being who truly cares.
He even brought a small chair just for me to rest on during the tour, and carried it the whole time himself, refusing to let my friends help. He did it with so much respect, it honestly made me tear up. That same feeling came again when I saw the pyramids for the first time. It was magical.
Ramses didn’t rush me. He walked at my pace, gave me his hand when I needed support, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. But what touched me even more is that he also took great care of my two friends. He never made them feel left out. We all felt equally seen, respected, and valued.
On top of all this, Ramses is a brilliant storyteller. The way he talked about Egypt’s history made it come alive. You could see the passion in his eyes. He answered every question with so much love for his country.
