Ramses pays close attention to detail to ensure everything is well organized. He chooses the right times—often early—to avoid the crowds and create a unique experience when visiting the sites. On-site, Ramses guided us away from the crowds, highlighting the unique artifacts and stories that bring ancient Egypt to life. His knowledge and experience (he has a PhD in archaeology specializing in Ancient Egypt) are truly exceptional; we enjoyed being able to “nerd out” about the history and culture of the Ancient Egyptians with him. One of the most unique parts of our tours was going inside the pyramids. Guides are not allowed inside these sites, but Ramses provided all the explanations, and then we explored on our own while he waited for us. Going inside the narrow passages, especially in the Great Pyramid and the more challenging Step Pyramid, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our day exploring Islamic and Coptic Cairo provided a different, unique view into the heart and heritage of the city; we highly recommend it if you have the time.

Overall, Ramses always ensured that we were comfortable, safe, and satisfied, delivering us door-to-door to the main sites, handling our entrance tickets, and guiding us through Cairo and its nearby ancient sites. With him at your side, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. We very much enjoyed our tours, and will definitely be back. Thank you Ramses!

But I believe destiny brought us back to ramses on our last day . We had such a bad experience in Giza I decided to check if Ramses was available last day we had in Cairo and sure enough he was ! Let me tell you if you don’t book with Ramses your missing out on alot of good information and a person with such a great personality! Super funny and great with kids ! Hes super detailed and I can see the passion he has for history ! He will make sure you see everything you need to see ! Great photographer, he will take all the photos you need on your phone! Read full review trip for my wife & I: a very personalised visit to the Giza Plateau on day 1, followed by a visit the new GE museum next the pyramids. We paid the premium for the VIP golf cart option and AVOIDED THE QUEUES at both locations which were humongous so save your pennies and be pampered in the VIP lounge. His knowledge was exceptional, & he took us to places that we simply would not have seen. The crawl down into the centre of Menkaure’s tomb was quite challenging but a once in a lifetime experience. He then gave us an afternoon tour of the new museum, the highlight of which was King Tut’s treasure if you missed it in London in 2011 - it’s never leaving that place so go! In truth we wished we’d had a 2nd day in the museum as it’s MASSIVE but Ramses made the most of our slightly limited time. Day 2 was to see mustabas, pyramids & colossi at Saqqara, Dashur & Memphis - all awesome and so well explained. Another pyramid entered but not for the faint hearted! His driver was super safe & whilst Ramses isn’t the cheapest guide, you will get so much more out of your inevitably limited time with him by your side.
