Discover the ancient wonders of Saqqara, one of Egypt’s most historically rich and archaeologically significant sites. Located just 30 kilometers south of Cairo, Saqqara serves as the ancient necropolis for the capital city of Memphis and is home to some of the world’s most iconic monuments, including the renowned Step Pyramid of Djoser. This pyramid, designed by the legendary architect Imhotep, is the world’s oldest large-scale stone structure and marks a pivotal point in architectural history.
